WebHostingBuzz provide Budget Web Hosting, Reseller Web Hosting and Dedicated Server, and the servers are fast and reliable using the latest technology and only the best hardware to produce the best platform for your website. The customer service is great. 24×7 helpdesk support, 24×7 live chat support, 24×7 forum access and 9-5 phone support mean that getting assistance is not a problem with WebHostingBuzz.
The packages offered by Webhostingbuzz looked pretty good, so I decided to take a reseller package. That turned out to be a mistake.
The registration went ok, the welcome email contained errors in the urls for whm and cpanel, but these were easily corrected. After creating a few subaccounts, the sites were all very slow. And in whm I could see that the machine load was huge, and this was an 8 core/8GB machine so what was going on? They said all was fine and ignored my error reports. From time to time I got time outs, connection refused and even internal server errors! I’m not talking about very small php/mysql test sites that did almost nothing.
After submitting tickets and posting in their forums, all I got was the suggestion to upgrade to a virtual private server. They said the reason my sites were slow is because I was on a shared machine(!) Yes, that’s why we call it reseller/shared hosting. Obviously Webhostingbuzz thinks that’s a good reason for the unacceptable bad performance.
I waited two months, having nothing but time outs, slow sites, internal server errors, connection refused and submitting many tickets and forum posts but nothing was done about it. Webhostingbuzz was accepting the situation as it was. In the forums, there were several other resellers complaining as well with the same kind of errors as I had.
I left Webhostingbuzz and turned to Hostgator.com And what a difference! Those Hostgator people really eat the competition, 5 out of 5 for Hostgator. It’s just that they don’t offer the very small packages, but calculated per GB it’s almost the same. Hostgator is the real reseller company for you.
If you want to know more, anyone can mail me at desloopkogel@gmail.com to verify that this review is sincere. Again, don’t join Webhostingbuzz.
PS. Even their own website is now giving an error, can you believe it..
As opposite of Resellerontheweb’s review, I come from Host Gator to WHB. The WHB WHM (Web Host Manager) very flexible compare to Host Gator, more features available in WHB.
The speed of both company quite same if access from USA but from ASIA, WHB has better speed. I have no problem with WHB Server, except error from my client such as bad php coding in their script.
With more space and b/w my choice come to WHB. Based on stability, price and support then I choose WHB. WHB Technical Support responds very good.
I’ve been using WHB for over 2 years, and just ended my relationship with them. They’re cheap, but that’s about all they have going for them. They have extremely slow servers, lots of downtime, and horrible and disrespectful customer support (see this link here, they actually call a customer “pathetic” for complaining about something: http://www.dslreports.com/comments/2543).
Strongly advice going elsewhere. Just not worth it.
My experience with WHB has been great. I didn’t renew my account recently but that is only because my website never really took off. Excellent customer service and as soon as my new website is ready I will be signing up again.
I was with them mainly because I was solving most of my own problems most of the time, but whenever I needed support, it would take weeks before my problem was solved. I would give them 0 for customer support if I could. My server was down at least once a week for about 2-3 hours per week. The services are weak, and did I mention the customer support stunk?
After 14 months I am moving on. They also DO not offer unconditional 30 day money back in most cases.
There are many other web hosting companies out there that offer more for a comparable price.
