I am not sure why you are posting false reviews. I was able to match your review on couple of sites on which you are using aliases and posting exactly the same thing over and over.
As responded in your ticket your payment has been refunded as per our terms and conditions on March 13th - within 5 business days after you have submitted your account cancellation and refund request.
If this was not a public site I can copy/paste your transaction date and the amount refunded as an evidence to the public but due to privacy concerns would not do this.
It would have been difficult for us to come oversea for a court hearing and especially for the one for which you have no case against us.
Hopefully you will not be wasting other hosting companies time and other people’s time in creating fake reviews and make false accusations (btw did you know that these are illegal in the USA and you can get prosecuted for such statements?)
I agree with Mitch! I think if Mochahost would spend less time on the internet tracking down all the negative comments about their company and responding to them, they would have more time to take care of their customers! As it is, you can never get anyone on the phone. You have to leave your name for them to get back to you and it’s always the same person. When you look for help on live chat, they never solve your problems, they tell you to write an e-mail to support, but there is no support team!!!
I would never recommend them to anyone! Just the opposite, I would tell people to stay away!!!
I agree with Mitch too! After about 2 month paying for a shared hosting and many times chatting with live chat (who is always a person named Morbeo or something like this), I have not my host nor my money!

It would have been nice to know your actual names and emails so that we can respond to you properly - but unfortunately since you have not left actual domain names or email contact there is no way for us to see what your actual problems were. Why would some who is telling the truth hide their identity is a whole different story – I would guess that you are simply the same guy “Mitch”.
We are not tracking down the bad reviews we are simply responding to reviews which are not accurate so that other people can know what the truth is. Our live help team is as responsive as it can be - no company in the World can offer Level2 support administrators to be on staff and chat with clients since then the cost will be in the range of hundreds per month and not less than a burger per month. We do have Level1 and Level2 administrators which are available through our email/ticket system and which respond on average in less than 1 hours depending on what the issue is. We do take care of our customers otherwise we would not have plenty of positive reviews posted including:

Very Bad service.
My naive brother signed up with this company Mochahost. They cut him off for upfornt payment $19.99, I paid it for him. Mochahsot decided to charge in $15.00 USD for connection.
Such agressive tactics and disconnection technics not allowing my brother access to his database data is wrong. I sent an email and received no response.
There seems to be one person who is on the chat. For sure this company will be shut down in UK.
Advised my brother to run, since this is a rip of company and will be filing a report as well.
It’s sad Mocha is aggressively using disconnections to make people pay.
I personally do not negotiate with heavy haanded companies , i move on. I feel for my young brother. He is still waiting to be connected after we paid the additional $15.00.

I am another Mitch, the service is good.
Mocha Host is just a Scam.They deactivated my account after getting paid in full for 3 years in advance. The reason they gave me was that I’m using the Business account for Resale. In fact all the domains that I had hosted with them are owned by me and they don’t even have the commonsense to check the Whois database to see who owns the domains. I tried explaining and reasoning with them but there is no meaning in reasoning with someone who’s primary intentions are to SCAM the customers.
My Legal department will be filing a law suite against MochaHost. Since I’m not alone here we are also looking into filling or amending the case later as a class action law suite. I’ll post further contact information if it turns into a class action law suite.
The customer service is dumb, rude and pain in the rear. I never had a chance to communicate with anyone with commonsense. Their Customer support is terrible. Anyone saying good about their support are either mochahost employees or lying.
Performance was ok at the beginning and gradually went down the drain. In plain words, the performance was terrible.
Their adon features may look attractive, but getting them to work and getting support from MochaHost may feel like pulling a teeth.

Not sure why you are posting the same review over and over - it is not really helping with your lies since we will simply respond with the same message.
Your account has been suspended due to violation of our terms and conditions. You have violated 2 different parts of our terms and conditions:
1) Excessive server load produced by your sites
2) Reselling your shared hosting account instead
Our terms are very clear and specific that you can not use your shared hosting account for resell purposes.
We do in fact have common sense and that’s why we have verified the contact pages of the sites which you have been hosting which all had different contacts proving that these sites did not belong to the same contact/company. Even if the sites in questions were yours you are still missing the fact that you are overloading our server and thus violation our terms.
We have given you a notice of more than 20 days to respond to us and to upgrade to a Reseller account which is the proper account type if you want to resell our hosting services. Your account would not have been suspended if you have responded to us in a timely manner. We have opened the ticket on August 18th requesting that you respond in 24 hours and have suspended your account on September 12th.
Where exactly is the scam here?
There is absolutely no way for us to allow one customer to overload and abuse our service especially when is for profit. Why would we allow you to take server resources from other clients and impacting other clients site performance just because you are greedy and want to take advantage of us and our clients for your own profit. Shame ON YOU !
If we were such a bad company why did you stay with us since December of 2008 and have not cancelled your account with us within your 30 days money back period?
Btw - making false statements and false accusations about our company and company employees is illegal in the U.S.A. and is considered a slander, but your legal department should already know that – right? You have no rights to make false statements – Shame ON YOU!

Mocha Host obviously doesn’t like getting exposed. Kicking and screaming after the fact only makes Mocha Host look pathetic. Dear Mocha Host, I still have all the logs from the chat sessions and the support tickets and I can prove my allegations anywhere anytime.
Violation # 1: Excessive server load produced by your sites:- I kept asking mocha support, which site was causing the overload and they never had an answer for me, nor they were able to tell me what kind of overload was my site causing.
Was it an excessive use of bandwidth? The stats doesn’t show extraordinary traffic. Almost all the sites have about 100 hits a day and if they cannot handle 100 hits a day, I believe that they should not be in the business.
Was it excessive load on CPU or Memory? If they had the knowledge to tell which site is causing this, I would have had my developers to look for some resource leaks and would have fixed it. All the sites were simple ASP pages. The problem probably is that they didn’t know how to check that.
For my continued requests, never got any useful answers back. Only… Bla… Bla… Bla…..s
Violation # 2: Reselling your shared hosting account instead:- Anyone in the Web business know that the domain ownership is based on the WhoIs information and not the information in the contact us page. All the domains that I had hosted with Mocha Host was registered under my name and I kept mentioning to them in the Support tickets to check the WhoIs for the domains and they never did it. I’m not even sure if they understood or know what a WhoIs database is.
Ok. The sites had different company name and contact numbers in the contact us page. That doesn’t mean that those sites belong to some one else. The state of Florida Department of State registry will show that all the companies are registered under my name. If so how is that considered reselling? Am I reselling to myself???
The SCAM HERE is that Mocha Host want’s to hook customers with their low price then threaten with cancellation and make them upgrade to reseller account by paying more. It’s called “Bait and Switch” Which is illegal in the U.S.A.
These comments are to caution other customers from getting baited into Mocha Host and expressing my honest thoughts are my FIRST AMENDMENT rights (Freedom of Speech).

Mochahost support is COMPLETE useless! They don´t provide live support, you cannot even get an invoice for a service from the live chat! I just moved my site to mochahost (4 days ago) and i´m very UNSATISFIED!
I requested a dedicated ip address at mochahost billing department 3 days ago and still no answer! WTF is that?! TERRIBLE SUPPORT, NO ANSWERS, CHAT CLOSED AT YOUR FACE, ETC ETC.
STAY AWAY FROM MOCHAHOST IF YOU WANT A HOSTING COMPANY THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT. Stay away also if you want “fast reply” on your emails/request/etc.

Great that you guys posted these reviews here, I was actually considering hosting with them as they were cheap and I could do some development and testing on their accounts..but it looks like they really suck.. Thanks guys.
THEY ARE HORRIBLE, as simple as that. I signed up for a VPS, within two days I was satisfied from everything. Setup time, support, control panel…. I felt lucky I was covered by a refund, which by their ToS would take 5-7 days. However, it’s the 14th day of my cancellation request submission and guess what I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED.

I’ve been with MochaHost for over two years and have been generally pretty happy with it. Until recently, that is, until some of my projects started going live and I started running into technical issues.
The issues themselves are pretty run-of-the-mill, I’ve seen the same thing with other hosts I’ve used, It’s the customer service that is unbelievable. UNBELIEVABLY BAD. Seriously, I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t experienced it, several times.
I’ve kept copies of my correspondence with them hoping it will provide some comic relief some day. Maybe I’ll start a blog, or better yet a comic strip based on my support tickets.
The people who man technical support are rude and often have an attitude (not unlike some of the responses by MochaHost above). Every response I’ve gotten on a support ticket has been a kurt one sentence, at best, response that may completely ignore the question proposed in the ticket. I have literally responded with almost twenty emails trying to get the answer I needed, explicitly spelling out the question, the same question over and over again. I always get the impression that they are under pressure to resolve the tickets and move on as quickly as possible and that I as a customer am nothing more than an inconvienence.
MochaHost has a nice offering of features and options, but anyone considering them needs to be aware of this very large drawback.
They have a bait and switch plan. Signed for a two year business plan which included free domain registration for two years. After the first year, the domain stopped working. Contacted them, and they said because I have not used it enough (i’m building the site part time), my domain was on hold and I would have to pay between $100 to $200 to retrieve. They understood I pre-paid for two years already with the domain, but it did not matter. After many many subsequent messages (most with no replies), I was stuck. They would also not provide a phone number or address to their legal department. A year later (two years total), they tried to charge my credit card for renewal. What! they lost my domain name, and I cannot access their system and they want a renewal? Go elsewhere.
JUST STAY FAR FROM THEM. BAD SERVICE , REALLY BAD SUPPORT. AND THEY ARE CRYING A LOT TO NOT PAY BACK.
I just want to know if I can sue them since they let the free life time domain name they promised expire and suspended one of my rank 3 domains added as an add-on domain through Plesk. When I try to unsuspend it through it says that it can’t because the domain is expired. The add-on domain is registered elsewhere and is not expired. That seems to mean that someone intentionally went into the Plesk and marked it falsely as expired. Now they are very slow to respond to my tickets. The domain that I selected when I signed up with them is important to me and I was under the understanding that that domain is mine. I would have registered it with a reputable and real registrar if it wasn’t for their seeming false advertising. It is unbelievable that they are advertising two free domains now when they tried to invoice me for one and then let it expire. It is starting to look like intentional fraud to me. I also believe that if I have to move elsewhere as a result of their false advertisement they should have to pay for the time it will take to transfer the databases. I have taken screen shots of all the issues. I have found another hosting company that has equally reasonable prices but all good reviews.
